When I look back at the most meaningful things I’ve built — Arbaaa, my platforms, the early personal brand projects — none of them started with market demand. They started with instinct. With discomfort. With a quiet belief that there was something missing, and I had to be the one to create it.
There’s No Applause at the Start
In the early stages, you don’t get applause. You get silence.
You present your idea and get a puzzled look in return. You explain your vision, and people ask, “But who else is doing this?” And when you say, “No one,” they often follow with, “Exactly.”
You’re not following a trend. You’re stepping outside of it.
This is where many ideas die — not because they’re bad, but because the silence is loud. It echoes in your mind. It makes you question your decisions. It makes you wonder if you’re lost.
But here’s the truth I’ve learned: If you’re hearing silence, you may be on to something rare.
The Weight of the Unknown
There’s risk in building what no one else is building.
You’ll spend time explaining what you do — over and over again. You might spend money before the business model becomes clear. You might lose momentum while others chase more predictable wins.
There’s no playbook for the unconventional.
And yet, that’s where the most impactful work lives — not in copying what’s working, but in creating what’s next.
The Invisible Rewards
If you stay long enough in the silence, something shifts.
It starts small — a message from someone who was moved by your work. A client who tells you they’ve never seen anything like what you offer. A moment when your brand, your project, your message suddenly resonates.
That’s when you realize: you didn’t just build something.
You proved something.
You proved that trust in your vision matters more than trends.
That real impact often starts in isolation.
And that the most meaningful rewards are the ones you don’t chase — they arrive when your work is ready.
